How to Play the Number Guessing Game
Welcome to the Number Guessing Game! Here's how it works:
- You will try to guess a randomly chosen number between 1 and 100.
- You have 10 rounds to play, and in each round, you will enter your guess and submit it.
- Before each guess, you can place a bet using your coins.
- Your bet is multiplied by your round score and added to your total coins.
- The game will compare your guess to the chosen number and award points based on how close you are.
Scoring:
- Exact number: 5 points
- Within 2 numbers: 4 points
- Within 5 numbers: 3 points
- Within 10 numbers: 2 points
- Within 25 numbers: 1 point
- More than 25 numbers away: 0 points
Betting:
- You start with 100 coins.
- Before each guess, you can place a bet using your coins.
- Your bet is multiplied by your round score and added to your total coins.
- If you lose, your bet amount is subtracted from your total coins.
Game Progress:
- After each guess, you will see how many points you scored that round.
- You will also see your total score, average score per round, number of rounds played, and your total coins.
- After 10 rounds, the game ends and displays your final score and total coins.
Average Score for Random Guesses:
If you guess completely randomly, the average score per round over many games is approximately 1.2 points. This means that over 10 rounds, a purely random guessing strategy would yield an average total score of about 12.5 points.
Good luck and have fun playing!
